Celebrating Women’s Month

This was our event to celebrate women in August 2015. We hosted schoolgirls from Leshata Senior Secondary in Orange Farm.

The motivational speakers told them about the power of books. Award-winning author Cynthia Jele who wrote Happiness is a Four-Letter Word, with SAs first woman CEO of national libraries, Professor Rocky Ralebipi-Simela and SABC 1s YoTV presenter Karabo Bonco.

The SA Book Development Council gave each of the pupils a Book Token worth R250, so they could shop for books:
