Digital technologies summit 2015 took place 18-19 March.

The Digital Technologies Summit took place from 18-19 March 2015 bring up the question: Is SA keeping up with the global trends regarding the e-book?

The aim of this summit is to work towards a coherent digital strategy that serves the needs of all producers and users of books – individual readers of all ages, the book industry, institutions (libraries, educational bodies, corporates and others) and government.

The summit brings together the various role-players in the digital book ecosystem and the many links in the digital book value chain. It will see us focus on the current issues and challenges faced by the book sector as a whole. Expert speakers, panel discussions and break-away sessions will allow us to collaborate in finding solutions, creating growth and increasing access in the e-book sector.
